Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. We would now like you to celebrate your special day with us at Ramada Worldwide. To ensure that your day is perfect we have prepared a plan of action for you to follow with assistance from your Ramada Co-ordinator.

Step One-As soon as possible

Contact your local clergy or registry office to set a date
Book the wedding date at your chosen Ramada and enjoy a show around the hotel with your wedding co-ordinator
Give approximate numbers for your reception

Step Two-Twelve months ahead

Choose bridesmaids, best man, ushers, flower girls and page boys
Shop for wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses, accessories, shoes and jewellery
Choose a colour scheme for the wedding and discuss with your hotel wedding co-ordinator
Book time off from work for your wedding and honeymoon
Book honeymoon

Step Three-Six months ahead

Compile guest list with both families and decide on numbers for the wedding, reception and evening reception
Register at department store for wedding gifts
Begin health and beauty regime
Book treatments if your chosen Ramada Hotel has a Sentosa Spa
Book florists, stationery, photographer and videographer
Confirm menu with your Ramada wedding co-ordinator

Step Four-Three months ahead

Decide on clothes for groom, best man, ushers, and ring bearer and arrange to hire them if necessary
Choose wedding rings
Parents should now choose their wedding clothes
Apply for passports
Order wedding cake
Post wedding invitations
Arrange accommodation for out of town guests

Step Five-Two months ahead

Confirm dates with contract services ie: florists etc..
Confirm details with clergy or registry office
Buy gifts for bridesmaids, best man, ushers and other attendants
Shop for accessories
Keep record of acceptances and regrets of invitations
Choose going away outfit

Step Six-One month ahead

Confirm final numbers with your Ramada wedding co-ordinator
Confirm seating plan with Ramada wedding co-ordinator
Arrange hair and makeup appointments
Schedule final fitting for wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses
Pick up tickets for honeymoon travel
Final meeting with photographer with list of photographs to be taken
Contact everyone in immediate wedding party about the rehearsal
Organise going away and honeymoon clothing
Keep record of all gifts received

Step Seven-One week ahead

Check final guest list with your Ramada wedding co-ordinator
Pack for honeymoon
Confirm all bookings
Try on wedding gown with all accessories
Have full rehearsal for wedding service
Time journey home / church / stop for photographs / hotel

Step Eight-One day ahead

Arrange for honeymoon luggage to be taken to your Ramada Hotel
Give gifts to bridesmaids, best man ushers etc...
Pick up flowers and deliver or check delivery with florist
Collect any wedding clothes from hire company
Wind down and relax … you are almost there

Step Nine-The Big Day!

Give wedding rings to best man
Have hair and makeup done
Have a great day and have lots of fun!

Step Ten-After the wedding

Send cake to those who could not attend
Order wedding photos and video
Pay any outstanding wedding accounts
Change all relevant documents to show change in name and marital status
i.e.: bank account, credit cards, passport, driving licence tax records, insurance
Write thank you letters
Advise on change of address to relevant people if necessary
